London, as it could have been any other major city around the planet. I lived in London for almost 12 years. I can confidently say that, today, I am who I am thanks to all the experiences I had, living in this city. It was a relationship of hate and love, sadness and happiness. I had opportunities I could have never found in my homeplace, perhaps not even in my home country. Despite London not being my first choice, looking back, I’m glad I decided to move here. Finally, after almost 12 years, as many people before me and many others after me, I left it behind for what hopefully will be a better place.
