I have something important to reveal: I have been completely uninterested in politics my entire life. So, in this essay, you won’t find any usual left, right or centre political opinions, or commentary about anything going on politically, worldwide. Which means, depending on your taste, you may find this essay less intense and a little more interesting than what you could expect.
I’m pretty sure that my initial revelation may find either totally uninterested “Alright, that’s fine.” type of people or people completely against it. Because, finding a middle ground in politics requires each party to give up on the stubborn pride that extreme beliefs are built upon. Also, this is the reason why it is commonly advised to leave aside any politics’ conversation when you are with family or friends. You know, to avoid beef when it is not on the menu. Have you got it? Eh, eh ,eh?! (Don’t worry, you don’t have to force yourself into a laugh. I can’t see you.)
I feel politics is boring and always with the same outcome regardless of what party wins. Have you ever noticed it? It doesn’t matter in what country; it doesn’t matter what political party we are talking about. Eventually, by the end of the term, the governing party will find disagreement even within the same supporters that have voted for them. Needless to mention, they can find disagreement even with colleagues under the same political party. Now, this is a bit of a stretch since I would normally judge it as normal human behaviour since everyone is allowed to change their mind, if it wasn't that we are talking about politics and not the relationship we have with other human beings.
